Specially-made durable polysteel 9mm twisted ropetops were first created by Reidar's with the welfare of the scallop fleet in mind. Ropetops are heavier in consruction than the competitors' and weigh more, but price per pound is the same.One of the great advantages with these rope tops is the low shrinkage factor,twisted polysteel rope does not retain sand and silt within the core like braided twine tops does resulting in a much more stable product. Even if you pay more for Reidar's ropetops, the strength and quality of the product is worth the diffrence in price. Ropetops comes 10 3/4" ( a 3/4" safe margin ) For customers interested in bales of this product, the bale size is 181 x 34.5 and weigh over 400lbs.
