Door spread

This table is based upon a 50 foot net design spread (about 120' sweep).
The top row (horizontal - red) represents the distance between the door and the trawl in FATHOMS (legs + groundcable).
The left column (vertical - gold) represents the gear towing angle in DEGREES.

Use the table by first measuring and calculating your doorspread. 2. Add up the distance between the net and doors(one side)and match it with the numbers on the first row (top row). 3. Follow the column down until the the numbers match your doorspread as close as possible. 4. Follow the horizontal row out to your left to find your degree angle.
